We were fortunate to be able to make a trip to the big island of Hawaii this November. Declan was five months old for this first plane trip. The only time he was bothered was during take off and landing, and was a content angel in his mother's arms for the rest of the trip. I lie - on the leg from Hawaii back to LA, he had a couple of seats of his own to stretch out on. Definitely a benefit to taking the red eye. He thrived at sea level. Incubated and born at five thousand feet, it's like he hasn't been getting enough oxygen up to this point.

Ready for the beach
Or the pool
Finally, the beach.

Lord of all he surveys: the coffee farm
Tuckered out from all the activity
